Energy and
Environment Policies
Builds an academic foundation for energy¡¤environment professionals by expanding their understanding of domestic and global energy¡¤environment policies
Discusses economic solutions to environment¡¤energy problems that have brought market failures, and analyzes economic¡¤legal impact of relevant policy schemes
Provides economic insights on energy problems by analyzing mega trends in major energy-related fields
Intro to Energy
Engineering
Offers basic training in technology and policy aspects of energy engineering for students to be better qualified as global green energy experts
Emphasizes basic energy concepts and theories, current technological issues on renewable energies, major energy conversion and storage technologies and high-efficiency energy technologies
Intro to Environmental
Engineering
Allows students to gain essential knowledge in environmental science and engineering
Focuses on earth environment, carbon cycle, carbon sequestration, water cycle, water quality and treatment, and atmospheric pollution and control
Green Seminar
Consists of lectures by invited CEOs in energy and environment fields
Provides in-depth and practical understandings of energy¡¤environment policies and strategies at home and abroad with consideration of recent and potential changes in the global energy situations, thereby enabling students to better visualize their career options
