  • Builds an academic foundation for energy¡¤environment professionals by expanding their understanding of domestic and global energy¡¤environment policies
  • Discusses economic solutions to environment¡¤energy problems that have brought market failures, and analyzes economic¡¤legal impact of relevant policy schemes
  • Provides economic insights on energy problems by analyzing mega trends in major energy-related fields
Intro to Energy
Engineering
  • Offers basic training in technology and policy aspects of energy engineering for students to be better qualified as global green energy experts
  • Emphasizes basic energy concepts and theories, current technological issues on renewable energies, major energy conversion and storage technologies and high-efficiency energy technologies
Intro to Environmental
Engineering
  • Allows students to gain essential knowledge in environmental science and engineering
  • Focuses on earth environment, carbon cycle, carbon sequestration, water cycle, water quality and treatment, and atmospheric pollution and control
Green Seminar
  • Consists of lectures by invited CEOs in energy and environment fields
  • Provides in-depth and practical understandings of energy¡¤environment policies and strategies at home and abroad with consideration of recent and potential changes in the global energy situations, thereby enabling students to better visualize their career options
