±âº»Á¤º¸ | Kyung Nam KIM is a professor of Green School at Korea University, focusing on the topics of energy policy and economics, especially in finance and economic analysis. He is a member of the Korean Institute of Certified Public Accountants, and an editorial board member of Journal of New and Renewable Energy as well as a director of KSNRE (The Korean Society for New and Renewable Energy). He received his BA from Korea University, his MA from Seoul National University in Business Administration (Accounting) and his Ph.D. in Business Administration (Finance) from Hongik University. His current fields of interests are the application of financial models for the electricity market, the corporate strategy of the energy companies with policy and technology. He has published a series of academic papers on Solar City with Professor John Byrne in the University of Delaware. Also, he has an academic interest in the accounting approach (Measuring, Summarizing, Analyzing and Reporting) with the energy and environmental context. Before the academic life, he managed the solar business as CEO of AJU Energy. Besides, he has a variety of work experiences in accounting, finance, investment and business consulting. |

±âº»Á¤º¸ | Yoonhee Ha serves for the Graduate School of Energy and Environment of Korea University as a professor. She specializes in public finance and sustainable development. As a senior policy researcher for the Korean National Assembly, Dr. Ha has built professional experience in the fields of public finance and government budgeting. Yoonhee earned her PhD in energy and environmental policy at the University of Delaware. Her dissertation ¡°Green Growth: Paradigm Shift or Business as Usual?¡± examines the impacts of green growth on governance, nature-society relations, technology, and energy to determine whether this strategy is capable of resolving the current conflicts between material growth and the environment. Her current research interests center on developing new forms of energy finance that can support comprehensive energy system change, and she has served on a number of project teams researching public finance and renewable energy policies |

±âº»Á¤º¸ | Dr. Hoesung Lee is Chair of the IntergovernmentalPanel on Climate Change (IPCC), elected since October2015, and Endowed Chair Professor at Korea UniversityGraduate School of Energy and Environment, Seoul,Korea. His research encompasses the economics of climate change, energy and sustainable development. He is a member of the Board of Directors of the Korean Academy of Environmental Sciences, council member of the Global Green Growth Institute, and a member of the Asian Development Bank President¡¯s Advisory Board on Climate Change and Sustainable Development. Lee was the founding president of the Korea Energy Economics Institute -- a government agency for national energy policy development. He was Distinguished Research Fellow at the Korea Environment Institute, senior adviser to the Minister of Energy and Resources and the Minister of Environment, senior fellow at the Korea Development Institute and economist at Exxon Company USA. He served as the president of the International Association for Energy Economics, president of the Korea Resources Economics Association, member of the International Advisory Board of the Battelle-Pacific Northwest National Lab, USA, the Board of Directors of Hyundai Corporation and the Institute for Global Environmental Strategies, Japan. He was Co-Chair of the IPCC Working Group III (the socio-economic dimensions of climate change) for the Second Assessment which provided a scientific basis for the UNFCCC¡¯s Kyoto Protocol. He served as Vice-Chair of IPCC 2008-2015, and lead author and review editor for the various IPCC assessments. He has served on many national and international committees addressing climate change and energy. He has been a professional innovative leader with 22 years of executive-level experience, strong orientations in technology and strategic planning with proven leadership. Dr. Sung led the foundation of the Green Technology Center Korea from 2012, to form a well-established global green growth-related research & implementation institution with 64 MS and PhD staff members for four years. He was experienced in bridging activities such as technology transfer and feasibility studies of diverse sustainable green technologies in developing countries. He also accomplished the commercialization of research products and did innovate new business development as Chief Technology Officer and Head of a private sector R&D Institution. Professor Sung initiated extensive research and teaching in solar cells, LEDs, eco-friendly materials, etc., by setting up a new Center for Advanced Materials, UMass in New England, USA.
